Streaming the Hallmark Channels: Where to Watch in 2025

The Hallmark Channel has long meant quality television, especially during the Christmas season. If you're looking to stream Hallmark Christmas movies, you might be wondering where you can watch the Hallmark Channel and its related sister channels. The answer is: a lot of places. Which particular place is right for you depends on exactly what you want, as answers are rarely simple.

We will cover that, as well as Hallmark's other channels -- Hallmark Mystery and Hallmark Family -- as well as its on demand services and the differences. Plus, some free Hallmark content.

The free streaming channels do not have the current movies. They have Hallmark movies, to be sure, but not the same ones you can see on the standard Hallmark Channel. If the mere fact of Hallmark content -- albeit older Hallmark content -- is enough, then you can watch it for free at a few places.

Plex

  • Live Hallmark Movies & More
  • On demand Hallmark Movies & More

Roku Channel

  • Live Hallmark Movies & More
  • Subscription Hallmark+ (available as an add-on)

Pluto TV

  • Live Hallmark Movies & More
  • On demand movies

Xumo Channel

  • Live Hallmark Movies & More
  • On demand Hallmark Movies & More

Sling Freestream

  • On demand movies from the Hallmark Movies Now library

Hoopla

  • Hallmark+ BingePass (requires library card; offers 7 days of full access to the Hallmark+ library)

Those are a lot of free options, and they may be enough to get you what you want. However, if you want the current Hallmark Channel and its sister channels, you will need to subscribe to a live streaming service.

Hallmark's channels

These services are where the live Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, and Hallmark Family channels are available, except as noted below.

  • Hallmark+ ($8/month) -- Official SVOD service. Best for next-day premieres; does not include the live channels.
  • Frndly TV ($9/month)
  • Philo ($33/month)
  • Sling TV Blue + Lifestyle Extra ($52/month)
  • Sling TV Orange + Lifestyle Extra ($52/month)
  • Sling TV Orange+Blue + Lifestyle Extra ($67/month)
  • YouTube TV ($83/month)
  • Fubo ($85/month)
  • DirecTV Stream ($90/month) -- Hallmark Family requires the Movies Extra Pack add-on.
  • Hulu+Live TV ($90/month)

One thing to consider is if you want the current Hallmark Channel, look at the various packages and see what other channels are available. You may find the ($9/month) Frndly TV is sufficient. Or you may find one of the others more suited. What all this means is that you have plenty of options -- maybe more than you want to deal with -- to include Hallmark content in your streaming environment. If you do not know what to do, watch the free content until you decide. I mean, it is free, right? My Streaming Life has included the annual watching of Hallmark Christmas movies for years, and it is a tradition that continues seamlessly.
